  • iPhone

Rings with Apple’s own call screen, locked or not, and keeps its calls in the iPhone’s Recents.

  • Android

Rings as a full-screen call. Texts, voicemail, missed calls and faxes arrive as notifications.

  • Mac

A native app for the desk: calls, team texts, voicemail and notes in one window.

  1. An incoming call in the iPhone app from Harbor Clinic, (480) 555-0142, Calling Main line, with Decline and Answer
    01

    It rings like any call.

Apple’s own call screen, locked or not, and the call lands in the iPhone’s Recents. The app says which of your numbers they called: the main line, a department’s or your extension.

  2. A call in progress in the iPhone app: mute, keypad, speaker, hold, transfer, conference, park and drop, over the red end button
    02

Every key a desk phone has.

Mute, hold, and transfer to a coworker. Park the call for anyone to pick up, bring in a third person, or drop a recorded message in their voicemail and move on.

  3. Call waiting from Harbor Clinic, Calling Main line, with Decline, End & answer and Hold & answer, above a call on hold with Swap
    03

    A second call? Your call.

Hold this one and answer, end it and answer, or decline. The call on hold waits at the top, a tap from Swap.

  4. A call’s page in the iPhone app: Jordan Lee, answered by Alex Demo via the main line, its recording to play, save or share, and its transcript
    04

    Every call, kept.

Each call’s page says who answered and through which number, and a recorded call keeps its recording and transcript, to play, save or share.

For business

The office, in your pocket.

On a business account the app carries the team’s day: who’s free, the texts, the contacts you share and the fax.

Open, closed or on a break.

Close the office from the parking lot, step away from a queue, or go Do not disturb. Callbacks waiting and who’s free, at a glance.

The Team tab: the office open, available in the Support queue, two callbacks waiting and who on the team is free

Texts, as a team.

Customers text your business number and everyone sees the thread. Take it, hand it on, mark it done, or leave a note only the team reads.

Business texting
Messages: the team’s texts sorted into Unassigned, Mine, All open and Done

Contacts the team shares.

A customer’s numbers, and a note that travels with them: when to deliver, who to ask for.

A contact the team shares, Acme Supply Co.
Its shared notes: deliveries Tuesday and Thursday before 10am, ask for Dana in receiving, which everyone on the team can read

The fax, too.

Faxes land in the app. Send one from a file, a photo or a scan.

For homes

The home phone, on your cell.

The house number rings the app wherever you are, and the calls you make from it show the home number, not your cell’s.

  • Do not disturb and forwarding, at the top of Calls.
  • Voicemail you can read, a tab away.
  • Call screening and blocked numbers, in Settings.

Questions about the apps.

Which devices does the app run on?
iPhone, Android and Mac. Your Kafono number rings in the app wherever you are.
Does it use my cell minutes?
The app calls over Wi‑Fi or mobile data, with your Kafono number as the caller ID.
Why does the app store say Everyline?
Kafono runs in the Everyline app for now. Sign in with your Kafono details and it’s all yours.
Does it ring when my phone is locked?
Yes. On an iPhone, calls ring with Apple’s own call screen, locked or not, and show in its Recents. On Android they ring as a full-screen call.
Do my desk phones still ring?
Yes. The app rings with the rest of your phones, as your call settings say, and you answer on whichever is closest.
Is it the same account everywhere?
Yes. Sign in once on each; your calls, texts, voicemail and contacts are the same on the phone, the Mac and the web.
What do the apps cost?
Nothing more. They come with every plan, for homes and businesses.
